In 2009, I was encouraged by my friends to give the 365 photo project a try. I love taking photos, and was excited about participating. The daily posts paint a brief picture of my year and open my eyes to the beauty around me. It is challenging to post a photo daily. I was successful in 2009 and 2010, but fell a few short in 2011. I'll be continuing my quest for daily photos in 2012 and look forward to sharing them here.
This is a picture of my trunk after grocery shopping today. I'm finally getting in the habit of regularly using my cloth bags when I shop. Five bags of groceries = $130......lots of fruit & vegetables. It is expensive to eat healthy!
As of May this year there is a ban on plastic shopping bags across my state. If you use them you will have to pay for them, so I am getting into the habit of using canvas/cotton ones now! Good on you for setting a good example.
Kudos to you! I still use plastic. But I justify by reusing them when walking the dogs!
