We participated in a Historic Bike Ride this afternoon sponsored by the Park District and Historical Society in Arlington Heights. It was a great afternoon for a ride and we enjoyed learning some things about our town. This photo was taken in the Wheeling Township Cemetery. The headstone belongs to Asa Dunton, the founder of our town.
I love going through old cemetaries and reading the headstones. Many times you can tell what might have gone on during certain time periods.
