In 2009, I was encouraged by my friends to give the 365 photo project a try. I love taking photos, and was excited about participating. The daily posts paint a brief picture of my year and open my eyes to the beauty around me. It is challenging to post a photo daily. I was successful in 2009 and 2010, but fell a few short in 2011. I'll be continuing my quest for daily photos in 2012 and look forward to sharing them here.
Neither my husband nor I play the piano, so it sits silent now that we are empty nesters. When our girls were young, I loved listening to them practice or just sit down & play for fun. I wonder what to do with the silent piano now.
Speaking as one of the girls, you better hold onto it until one of them can take it! My mom is ready to get rid of our piano so she can have half her living room back, but no one has a house big enough. She continues to lemon oil it once a year and keep it beautiful for us.

ReplyDeleteAt least one of my girls would love to have it too, but neither has a home for it yet. Having half that area of the living room back would be nice.
